The airport’s main terminal opens two hours before the first flight is scheduled and remains open up to an hour after the last flight arrives.

Is there a restaurant in the airport?
The Runway Grille is a full-service, deli-style restaurant and bar located in the atrium and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Salads, sandwiches and hot meals are served as well as beverages and spirits. Available beyond the security checkpoint (for ticketed passengers only), beverages, spirits and snacks can be purchased at the Gate 1 Bar and Café on the concourse. Hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Where are restrooms located at the airport?
Restrooms are located off the main atrium between ticketing and the Runway Grille, in the concourse and in the baggage-claim area. The ticketing and baggage-claim restrooms include separate family restrooms with diaper-changing facilities and other family care amenities.

What ground transportation is available at the airport?
Melbourne International is served by Avis, Hertz, National and Budget, as well as an airport shuttle, and taxi and limousine services. All are located within steps of the airport’s baggage-claim area. In addition, a Greyhound Lines’ bus terminal is located at the airport near baggage claim, and local bus service (Space Coast Area Transit) stops at the airport several times a day. The TSA requires a federal or state-issued photo ID that includes the holder’s name, date of birth, gender, ID expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature for all ticketed passengers 18 years or older to clear security screening. TSA does not require travelers under 18 to present identification.
