Hon. Mayor Harry C. Goode

Hon. Mayor Harry C. Goode was first appointed to the Melbourne Airport
Authority in November 1979 and served until 1986. He returned to the
board in November 2004 and currently serves as its chairman. He was
elected mayor of Melbourne in November 2004 and previously served as
mayor from 1979 to 1986. He represented the Space Coast in the Florida
House of Representatives for 14 years (1986-2000). Mayor Goode was born
in Brevard County and is a graduate of Melbourne High School. He
attended Florida Southern College. He operated his family business,
Harry Goode’s Outdoor Shop in Melbourne, until retirement in 2005. |
