Get a jump on summer fun
US Airways announces round-trip fare promotion from MLB starting at $246*
MELBOURNE, Fla. (May 8, 2012) — Melbourne International Airport in partnership with US Airways is helping make summer travel fun and affordable for Space Coast residents, friends and their loved ones with a new fare promotion announced today.
With round-trip fares starting as low as $246*, a late-spring, early-summer getaway is as affordable as ever to great destinations such as New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.
“We are always looking for opportunities to make traveling more enjoyable and affordable at Melbourne International Airport,” said Richard A. Ennis, airport executive director. “We have been working diligently with US Airways to help bring about these great fares.”
The Melbourne Airport Authority approved a marketing campaign with US Airways at its April board meeting. The joint-marketing plan includes booking banners, special landing pages and display advertising on US Airways’ website.
The fare promotion applies to flights into MLB, as well, making visits to the Space Coast’s 72-miles of unspoiled beaches a breeze for friends and family.
“These fares are definitely available for travel to the Space Coast and its beautiful beaches, world-class golf, amazing eco-tours and, of course, the theme parks,” Ennis said.
